Bonnie Hines, M.S., LMHP
Bonnie specializes in helping traumatized children become able to trust and bond with their parents and caregivers.  The term "traumatized" generally refers to children who have lived with abuse and/or neglect or who have lost a parent or who have been in more than one home.  She believes that children have reasons for acting the way that they do and when those reasons can be brought to conscious thought they are then free to make better choices.

Children are seen with their parent(s) if that is possible.  Bonnie also provides individual therapy using several different methods including play therapy.

Ask Bonnie about her family bonding service, Heart to Heart Bonding.

Traci also has completed training and provides individual therapy using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, also known as EMDR.  This technique has vast applications in trauma work, anxiety, stress reduction, and anger management.

Julie Lingenfelter, LMHP, LPC, NCC

Julie has been dedicated to working with the elderly, the handicapped, and families for over 17 years. She has experience helping clients on their journey to overcome sexual trauma, abuse, neglect, low-self esteem, and relationship issues. Julie is conversationally bi-lingual and has over 9 years of experience working with cross-cultural households.

Also active in her community, Julie serves on the board for the North Central Community Care Partnership and is a member of the Northeast Nebraska's Community Response Team.

Julie’s passion is helping teenagers, school age kids, and families overcome barriers and issues that may prevent them from living a full and enriched life within their schools, peer-groups, families and future families. She believes that people heal best in their home and community environment rather than a clinical setting.  She reaches out to the underserved in the rural areas by conducting counseling sessions at their home or school

Brenda Nelson, PLMHP

Brenda, located in the Counseling and Enrichment Center at Kearney,  specializes in foster and adopted family issues.  Her personal life experience of being an adoptive parent for the past 13 years gives her first-hand experience of the healing that can take place in a child with a nurturing, informed and understanding primary care-provider.   Brenda believes that building a relationship anchored in trust and safety between a parent and child is key for the healing of traumatized children.  She empathizes with the parental struggle of raising a child rift with attachment and abandonment issues, biological or not.  Brenda presented testimony, life-experience and advice for foster parents at the 2011 National ATTACh conference.  Brenda is available for speaking to organizations, churches, support groups and/or any business or individual who desires information and guidance with behavior issues in children.

She also works part time in the Columbus area. Please read more at her Kearney office site: www.bsntherapy.com
