I am privileged to work for The Counseling and Enrichment Center who serves families across Nebraska. I am blessed with an amazing husband and two very busy boys. When I initially decided to pursue helping others I knew that I wanted to help children and families, however, I was unsure what this would lead to. Over the years of working I have been led back to my home state of Nebraska to serve children and families that need hope. I am genuinely interested in serving others and walking beside them while they face circumstances that may seem unbearable.
I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2005 from Kearney, NE and a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling in 2007 from Harrisonburg, VA. I am a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked with kids, adults, and families in a variety of environments including in-home counseling, out-patient counseling, residential treatment for at-risk teenagers, and have worked with children in foster care. I have 10 years’ experience working with Case Workers, Parole Officers, Probation Officers, Attorneys, Judges, and Law Enforcement. I am willing to go above and beyond to communicate or attend meetings with other professionals for your benefit. I will also help you connect with other services that our community offers.
I love providing hope and healing to kids and families as others did for me. We all face trials but through suffering we can develop perseverance, from perseverance comes character, and through this process comes hope. My goal is to walk with you to help provide hope, healing, and purpose to your life.
