I specialize in child, marital and family therapy working with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety and ADHD.  I specialize in concerns related to trauma, attachment and relationships within families.  I have been trained in Trauma Focused Attachment Therapy by Arthur Becker-Weidmann, Director of Center 4 Family Development.  I serve individuals and families developing nurturance, support and communication.

I am blessed to work for Counseling Enrichment Center serving many areas of Nebraska. I serve primarily in the Grand Island, Hastings and Kearney area of Nebraska. I have resided in Grand Island for 30 years in a number of employment capacities. I have worked in private and public therapy practices.

My wife and I have been foster parents to 27 children over the course of several years adopting three children. We experienced many blessings and trials along the way with our children. All our children have grown into adulthood.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pittsburg University in Pittsburg, Kansas. I also attended Bible college at Ozark Bible College in Joplin, Missouri. My master’s degree was obtained at Kansas State University in the Family and Child Development Department. The department is recognized and licensed nationally within the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). I am licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska since 1994.

It is true to say we all have strengths and liabilities. We fall short of what we could be. God is the ultimate provider of Love, Hope and Faith. I am one of God’s counselor’s providing guidance for others as we journey through life. It would be my privilege to help you to heal and live a more fruitful life.
