Jacquelyn Meyer started Counseling and Enrichment Center over 25 years ago. Her passion to help children who were underserved, and their parents who were desperate for guidance, has blossomed in to an organization spanning across a large area of the state. While she brings years of experience and a wide array of training to her work and the clinic, she also brings something else just as vital: laughter.

With a joyful approach, fresh perspective, clinical expertise, and an intense focus on continued training for her staff, Jackie gives her clients hope and healing that many thought was out of reach. As neuro-science is ever developing and offering more advanced techniques and insights, Jackie strives to keep on top of the latest research. She ensures that all of her therapists are trained in Attachment Focused Trauma Therapy.  She even checks in regularly with her clients to see how they’re doing - how their job interview went, how they are coping with a tough situation, or just to ask if they had a good day.

In addition to Counseling & Enrichment Center, Jackie founded Building Blocks for Community Enrichment  - a foster care agency. Building Blocks now covers more than 50 counties in the state of Nebraska where kids have a high rate of permanency. Check them out at their web site .

These days, much of Jackie’s time is spent training staff and traveling nationally to help families understand trauma and attachment. She is ever devoted to ensuring that this important mission lasts long after her work is done.
